Plus One Records is proud to present two of Brisbane's finest acts teaming up live and taking their respective bands and 2009 releases on the road to find old friends and make some new ones.
Queensland's finest garage country rockers, Mexico City, return to the road for the first time in 2010 with a bagful of confidence and new songs in tow to continue to preach the word of their acclaimed 2009 release, Brown Bird.
Roz Pappalardo has been a busy woman during "women in docs" first official holiday in over a decade of touring. Her solo debut, This Lifeboat, was recently released to immediate airplay across Australia, the film clip for the album's lead single ("I Say Fall") has been aired liberally by Foxtel's Country Music Channel and has also just been nominated as a finalist in the inaugural West End Film Festival.
Live, both acts are riveting and masterful, all clearly enjoying the huge sound and unique energy they exude.
